2nd Grade - November - Hide the Word - 1 Timothy 4:12 - Sunglasses
"Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in your speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12
You can either make these for the kids or have them as a give-away gift from you. If the kids make them, make sure to have a sample so they can see the spacing. All you need is one pair of sunglasses and a Sharpie marker for each child.
Kids love unique real objects and they make a priceless connection for their learning! For this sample, I used sunglasses from Oriental Trader. However, I wish they did not have the spots on them! It makes the words a little hard to read. I would look in the summer at Dollar Tree or other bargain shops for plain sunglasses.
Take a class photo with everyone wearing their sunglasses to hang in the hall with a verse poster. You could also take a photo of each child to display!
