2nd Grade - August - Hide the Word - Ephesians 4:12 - Puzzle

“From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” Ephesians 4:16

This can be an in-class activity or a mail-out game.  To make this puzzle, die-cut 2 paper dolls for each child.  Glue one die-cut onto a colored rectangle piece of construction paper.  Write the verse reference at the bottom on the mat.  

For the puzzle pieces, use the other die-cut paper doll.  Write the verse on the paper doll with a Sharpie.  Cut that paper doll into random puzzle pieces.

 Tape a baggie onto the back of the mat.  Place the cut up paper doll into the baggie on the back of the mat for storage. The kids place the cut-up paper doll onto the mat to make the puzzle.  See below for a finished sample.
